In keeping with this scheme of accumulation in 28 days (video) (see Object Training), I fabricated a plaster mould of the form of accumulated socks, from which I could generate multiple casts. I then cut apart the casts along the horizontal striations of socks and reassembled them, extending their length. Through this process, the rhythm of the accumulating socks in the performance/video resonates with the process of assembling the porcelain objects, generating a correspondence between two very different media and technical processes that is both formal and affective.
